HI, I'M JOEL
I got my dream job and it nearly killed me.
Now I help people and their businesses develop the one skill they need to increase their profitability, set themselves financially free and live their own rich life - sales.
MY STORY
I have never worked for a Fortune 500 company nor held a fancy VP title in a multinational corporation.
But I once was a kid from west Auckland that got himself into one of the top 5 conservatories for dance in the USA. I graduated and built a career dancing with some of the most accomplished choreographers of our time on the world's most renowned stages across 4 continents.
A dramatic shift in my physical health felt like the floor dropping out from under me. Virtually overnight I could no longer perform at the level I had been preparing for since the age of three.
But you know the incredible thing about rock-bottom? It forces you to take stock of what you do have. Within four months I found myself in a role managing client relationships, developing sales processes and turning over thousands in revenue per-week with little-to-no "sales experience" to my name.
But here is the truth.
Everyone, no matter their occupation or industry (or their preconceptions of the word) is in sales.
As my health began to recover I switched roles, identifying the possibility to earn commission and develop the skills to sell luxury items and close high-ticket sales in one of the highest net-worth destinations in Italy; Porto Cervo. Soon after I was given the opportunity to lead the establishment of a new location in Lugano, Switzerland.
Applying what I knew about communication, overcoming my preconceptions about money and building trust with my clients I started closing deals that brought in thousands in commission each day.
